Paavo Põld has, over the last 16 years, held a number of board level and managerial positions in regulated financial entities accumulating the experience required from directors to meet the high standards investors now require from fund boards. Between 1999-2001, Paavo served as CEO and member of the board of the small independent asset manager Suprema Fund Management (SFM). SFM was regulated by Estonian FSA and managed retail investors equity investment funds. Paavo served as CEO and was also responsible for compliance and legal affairs of the management company and the funds.

Frits Carlsen

Frits Carlsen, born in Copenhagen (Denmark) on 4 September 1958 and domiciled at 5, An Den Azengen, Uebersyen, L-5380 Luxembourg is the managing director and Head of International Clients at Sal.Oppenheim Institutional Asset Management in Cologne. Mr Carlsen is a recognized senior fund professional with more than twenty-five (25) years of experience. From 2005 to 2011, he was associate director and Head of Business Development at Sparinvest S.A in Luxembourg where he developed relationships with institutional investors from UK, Switzerland, France, Spain, Italy and the Nordic region. He also worked from 1995 to 2005 for Nordea Investment FundsFund S.A (formerly known as Unibank S.A) as a Senior Manager Fund Marketing/Private Banking, becoming later Head of Business Development.

Benoît Duvieusart

Benoît Duvieusart is a recognised expert in Alternative Investment Funds. He has been active in the investment fund’s sphere since 1987 and acted as legal counsel of UCITS as well as of AIFs investing, among other asset classes, in transferable securities, Art, Forest, Real Estate and Private Equity, and has advised several AIFMs and 2010 law management companies.

He further regularly advises funds and fund managers on legal and regulatory issues and assists major international companies on the structuring of corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buy-outs, private equity deals and group financings. He previously acted as Senior Associate in the Corporate Law – M&A Practice of a major law firm in Luxembourg and has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2004.
